PITCH is recommending the following websites of international programs that support scientific cooperation. Some are programs managed by international teams and monitored by international boards: The Human Frontier Science Program in life- and cognitive-sciences, the Intelligent Manufacturing Initiative in manufacturing technologies, the ICT Program of the Inter American Bank of Development in technologies for the information society, the European Union Framework Program for Research in most technology areas. Others are programs established in one country with a view to increasing contacts abroad: The INCO Program, open to many scientific areas, and the IST-Inco Program, in information society technologies, are both European Union programs. The US National Science Foundation runs the NSF International Programs, CNPq of Brazil runs programs for Cooperaçao Internacional, the Association for the Promotion of the Information Society between Europe and Latin America (APISEL) informs about programs in Latin America, an the Chinese Ministry of Science and Technology also introduces international exchange programs for senior fellows. The members of the PITCH Board are available for further details on the opportunities offered by these international cooperation programs.
PITCH also encourages and supports INSME, the International Network of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises, in its efforts to promote innovation and technology transfer to small-sized companies.

The Association for the Promotion of the Information Society between Europe and Latin America (APISEL) is a "cooperating network" of PITCH. The members of PITCH are given access to APISEL events, the lists of which are available from:
INSME is an international initiative aimed at providing support to intermediaries specialising in the field of innovation and technology transfer to small and medium-size companies.
The European Internet Foundation is an independent, not-for-profit and non-partisan spin-off of the European Parliement, to help shape public policies responsive to the unique potential and character of Europe's internet revolution.
The World Information Distributed University (WIDU) is to conduct fundamental and applied research to solve global problems to create the information society, train Doctors of Philosophy and Grand Doctors of Philosophy; and practically realize mutual recognition of diplomas and certificates of higher qualification of specialists.
Note that the meetings of "cooperating networks" often offer limited seating and sometimes require prior security checks. The members of PITCH who wish to participate are thus requested to pre-register by contacting the Board of PITCH at their earliest convenience.
