Internet & Society 2020

'Internet & Society 2020' creates a platform of prospective reflections concerning the new technologies in economical, social and cultural areas, and about the way the citizen interacts with these technologies.

PITCH

and of

Global Internet Policy Initiative
The Global Internet Policy Initiative supports adoption in developing countries of the legal and policy framework for an open and democratic Internet. The project works with local stakeholders in consultative, coalition-based efforts to promote the principles of a decentralized, accessible, user-controlled, and market-driven Internet.

European Internet Foundation
The mission of the European Internet Foundation is to help shape public policies responsive to the unique potential and character of Europe's Internet revolution. We focus primarily on issues and actions within the framework of the European Union. We pursue our mission through a continuous program of live debates and briefings, special projects, and interactive communication with wider constituencies through this web site. Via open and inclusive dialogue, our practical purpose is to identify 1) the most important emerging social, economic and political issues for European network society, and 2) public policy options for dealing with them. The Foundation does not itself take positions on specific issues.
